2020 NITDA Special Intervention Training for Graduates Unemployed Nigerian Youths
NITDA seeks to apply effective and sustainable solutions to build capacity and develop skills of Nigerians in emerging IT sectors and drastically reduce the unemployment rate in the IT Sector by bridging the widening skills gap in the sector.
The Agency through its academy has developed a vocational training program with newly formed curriculums.
The IT Vocational training will play a central role in preparing young people for work, develop their skills, and respond to the labor-market’s needs.
Training Details
Software Industry and IT Services have been recognized as having the potential to transform the economy, create jobs and contribute significantly to country’s GDP. It is also a potent tool to constructively engage the youths and stir up their creative ability.
As part of the Agency’s efforts to develop capacity, promote local content, and create digital jobs in Nigeria, the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) wishes to conduct training for unemployed graduates of tertiary institutions on IT knowledge, entrepreneurial skills and commercially viable Mobile and Web Applications. The programme will be delivered virtually for a period of Six (6) Weeks.
